This helmet is an authentic copy of a late medieval German sallet. It is hand-made from 2 mm steel it is battle-ready and fully usable for fullcontact re-enactment. The original was probably made in Nuremberg, Germany well-known for their excellent armourers. It is dated around 1480 AD.

An elaborate lock fixes the visor.

Comes with a very comfortable, high-quality, adjustable padded liner and a riveted leather chin strap and brass buckle.
